Auf der suche nach einer guten Quake Engine für Android bin ich nun endlich fündig geworden. Dank dem Android Forum und dank "Julien" läuft Quake II absolut ruckelfrei auf meinem Android Device. Zum Installieren muss man allerdings in den "Dev" Mode.

Wer sich davon nicht abschrecken lässt. Zugreifen!

Nach langer Suche und rumtesten mit "Apache:Gallery" bin ich nun endlich auf eine gute
alternative namens: "AutoIndex" gestossen. Das Script erfüllt alle meine Wünsche und
ist jetzt auch direkt im Einsatz für mein EVE Online Archiv. Dummerweise musste ich
vorerst die Downloadfunktion von kompletten Verzeichnissen als tar.gz deaktiveren.

Sobald ich eine Lösung für die Videos im Archive gefunden habe werd ich sie wieder
aktivieren. Desweiteren hab ich nach 4+ Jahren die Mainpage updated. Es gibt aber nicht
wirklich etwas neues. Sieht nur anders aus

Also nachdem ich jetzt knapp 2 Wochen mit der Multiuser Version von Wordpress auf Value-town.eu rumspielen konnte,
bin ich zu dem Schluss gekommen das mir Serendipity von der Handhabung einfach besser gefällt.

Wordpress ist überfüllt mit unnötigen Gimmicks die kein Schwanz braucht. Um es kurz zu machen.. Ich bleib mit meinem eigenen Blog definitiv auf S9y und installier mir ganz sicher kein WP! Es gibt natürlich einige Gründe die für WP sprechen, aber die betreffen eher den Multiuserbetrieb als ein Standalone Blog. Von daher bin ich absolut zufrieden mit Serendipity und hoffe das S9y langfristig die beachtung bekommt die es verdient.

The Uptime contest is a simple game for users with a permanent connection to the internet.
Founded on a big chat network called Quakenet.

This idea was brought up by some bored server administrators who wanted to find the most stable server by comparing the uptime of their IRC connection. They opened an IRC channel, gave voice to all competitors and waited until only one voiced user was left. That user was the winner of course.

In the meantime this contest became an institution nobody would want to miss anymore.

Coming features:
Auto. User/Team registration through a bot/web interface.
Statistics with most stablest Host/User/ISP etc.

The Scene

The Scene is a miniseries created by Jun Group Entertainment. This first-of-its-kind film was targeted to peer-to-peer (P2P) users, both in distribution, subject and style.

The series were financed through sponsorship deals and released for free on the web and on P2P networks under a Creative Commons license (attribution, no derivative works).

Mitchell Reichgut, director of the series, says in an e-mail newsletter:

Another question that keeps coming up in our IRC channel and in forums
around the web, is our rumored connection to SONY. As it happens, one
of our producers has a day job there (which was probably the genesis of
all the conspiracy theories) but that's as far as it goes. We pay for
"The Scene" ourselves and the idea that the show is some kind of
anti-piracy propaganda is truly silly.
